Mendel machine from reprap.org

In the last five years, there has been strong movements toward 3D printers. The most important aim is to develop 3D printers for a cheap price. With the word cheap, we mean less than 1000 $. Repraps and Mendels are open source machines.

We have started experimenting building a Mendel machine to produce cubic objects for testing purposes, in a hope that we can offer you this machine for a reasonable price to experiment at home. The design and the software of the machine is open source. Our main contribution would be on providing more efficient devices for less prices with an easy to follow documentations.
